Why We Are Unique
In the mid-1980’s, National-Louis University pioneered the Cohort/Cluster model of delivery. The Milwaukee and Beloit campuses support and implement the Cluster/Cohort structure in all programs. Cohort/Cluster classes are offered either on campus or at a convenient off-campus location. Each cluster/cohort group is made up of 15-20 students who stay together during the duration of the program. When students join a cluster/cohort group, they pre-register for the entire sequence of courses in advance, and know exactly which quarter these courses will be offered. The advantage of pre-registering is that the tuition is fixed for the entire program as long as students take the classes with the same cluster/cohort. Students take their courses at the same location throughout the program. In most programs, students take two courses one night a week per quarter (summer sessions vary).
