Science Major

Students completing a Science Major will have a liberal education with a broad knowledge of the natural sciences.

Requirements

1. Students must complete 45 quarter hours of science courses, including appropriate general education science courses. Twenty-five of the 45 quarter hours must be upper level (course numbers 300 or higher). A minimum of 15 of the 25 quarter hours of upper-level science must be taken at NLU. These may consist of any combination of physical or biological science courses.
   
2. Students must complete a second 45 quarter hour major or two 30 quarter hour minors to earn this degree.

Science Minor

Students completing a Science Major will have a liberal education with a moderate knowledge of the natural sciences.

Requirements

1. Students must complete 30 quarter hours of science courses (including appropriate general education science courses).
2. Ten of the 30 quarter hours must be upper level courses, and five of these ten must be taken at NLU.
