Connecting Language, Community, and Career Goals

 

The Department of Language Studies offers Connecting Language, Community, and Career Goals to advanced non-native speakers of English to provide language skill enhancement in the context of professional development. 

The course engages students to focus on the improvement of reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through multiple community projects.  Students apply their language knowledge as they explore selected destinations and their major fields of interest.

Students select community project opportunities in the following areas:

 

 
Connecting language

Culture

Business

Education

Healthcare

 

Connecting Language, Community, and Career Goals is offered by the Department of Language Studies for undergraduate credit only.
