Scholarships overview
In addition to scholarships funded by National-Louis University, many individuals, organizations, and corporations provide scholarship assistance for students at NLU. Scholarships may be obtained from industries, service groups, professional organizations, foundations, churches, state government, and academic departments. There are a variety of scholarships available to help finance your education at NLU.

Outside Scholarships
Scholarships are also available through state government agencies. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) administers various scholarships for residents of Illinois. There are 2 scholarships specifically for students pursuing teaching degrees:
· Illinois Future Teacher Corps (IFTC) Program
· Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) Scholarship Program (Undergraduate and Graduate)

Note: In general, institutional aid can only be applied to NLU tuition charges and is not refundable to students. The combination of all restricted grants, scholarships and vouchers is capped at a maximum of tuition and fees.
